8 Day Big Five Safari

Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport Arrival

Pickup from the airport upon arrival and transfer to the booked hotel. Delivery of a short safari briefing by the guide. Check in the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive In Manyara National Park

Pickup from your accommodations in Arusha for a 2 hour drive to Manyara located at the foothill of the great Rift valley. Explore the lush green park habituated by underground rivers .

Game drive to spot the famous tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, monkeys and a variety of bird species. Break for lunch and proceed with the drive to lake Manyara. Game view to admire the beauty of the lake and see flamingos laid beautifully across the lake. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and sleep.

Day 3: Half Day Game Drive and Transfer To Serengeti National Park

Have early breakfast and checkout the hotel for a short adventure. Game drive in search of more animals in their nature. Visit the hot springs to see hot natural water emerging from the ground and flowing over the rocks. Break for lunch at one of the picnic sites. Exit the park for a drive to the exclusive Serengeti.  Upon arrival, transfer to the booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive In Serengeti

Leave for a day’s game drive in the park spotting big cats, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, antelopes and others. Come across a variety of bird species. Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game view till evening. Transfer to the booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive In Ndutu Plains

Have a wonderful breakfast and checkout the hotel for a drive to Ndutu. Have a full day adventure in the marvelous Ndutu plains. Game view spotting hundreds of wildebeests migrating together with zebras and antelopes. It’s usually the calving season since the savannah plains are suitable for the herds.

Get a chance to see other animals including jackals, spotted hyenas, lions, antelopes and cheetahs. Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game drive till evening. Transfer to the booked hotel for dinner and sleep.

Day 6: Serengeti Half Day Game Drive and Transfer To Ngorongoro

Explore the endless plains of Serengeti in search of wildebeests, elands, toppi, warthogs and many others. Come across different bird species in the park. Break for lunch and proceed with the drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the late afternoon and transfer to the booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Checkout the hotel with packed lunch and drive to Ngorongoro. Descend down the Ngorongoro caldera which is a home to thousands of animals of birds. Game drive in the crater spotting the big five (the only place where big five can be seen at once), elephants, giraffes, elands, hyenas, antelopes, oryx, jackals and others. Come across variety of bird species. Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game viewing till evening. Ascend out the crater and drive to the booked hotel in Mto wa Mbu.

Day 8: Tarangire Game Drive and Transfer To Arusha

Have an early breakfast and checkout the hotel with packed lunch. Start the journey to Tarangire national park hosting a large number of elephants and baobab trees.

Game drive in the beautiful park spotting hundreds of elephants, big cats, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, monkeys. Break for lunch at a picnic site and proceed game viewing till late afternoon. Exit the park and drive back to Arusha or airport for departure.
