5 Day Ruaha Udzungwa Safari

Day 1: Transfer To Ruaha National Park

Early pickup from your accommodations in Arusha. Leave for a journey to Ruaha, the biggest national park in Tanzania. Arrive in the evening and check in the booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Ruaha Full Day Game Drive

Leave for a day’s game drive in the beautiful park spotting bird and animal species. Game drive to spot the famous Greater and Lesser Kudu (unique antelope species found in the park), elephants, Lions, hippos, Buffalos, Giraffe, Impalas, Warthogs, Wildebeest, Zebras, Cheetah and reptiles species. Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game view to see more animals and variety of bird species. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay

Day 3: Ruaha Walking Safari and Transfer To Udzungwa

Leave the hotel for an early walk with park wardens for a more closer look to the inspiring and beautiful wild nature. Return to the hotel by 9:30 for breakfast and shower. Exit the park while spotting more animals on the way to Udzungwa national park. Arrive around noon and have lunch upon arrival. Proceed with an afternoon walking safari in the beautiful mountains admiring what nature has to offer. Transfer to the booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Trekking and Walking Safari In Udzungwa

Have breakfast and go for a walk through the Sanje route in order to see the 4-stage waterfalls and do some swimming. A walk in the forest to see primates, as Udzungwa has 11 primate species, two of which are found nowhere else in the world.Break for lunch and proceed with game view to see different endemic plant species, birds, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies. Later evening return to the hotel for dinner and sleep.

Day 5: Early Walking Safari and Transfer To Arusha

Leave for an early walking safari and return to the hotel by 9:30 for shower and breakfast. Check out the hotel and drive back to Arusha.
