5 Day Mikumi Selous Safari

Day 1: Transfer To Mikumi National Park

Early pickup from your accommodations in Arusha. Leave for a journey to Mikumi national park in Morogoro with packed lunch. Arrive in the late afternoon and check in the booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive In Mikumi

Awaken to the beautiful nature completed by a hot breakfast. Go for a day’s game drive exploring the fourth largest park. Full day game drive to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, leopard, buffalos, wildebeest, zebras, crocodiles and wild dogs. Break for lunch and proceed with game drive spotting more animals and bird species till evening. Return to the hotel for dinner and sleep.

Day 3: Transfer To Selous Game Reserve

Checkout the hotel with packed lunch and do game drive while exiting the park. Proceed with the journey to Selous, the largest game reserve in Africa. Arrive in Selous in the late afternoon and check in the booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive In Selous Game Reserve

Leave for a day’s game drive in search for large population of elephants and rhinos as they are abundant in the reserve. Come across other animals including lions, hartebeest, waterbuck, leopards, spotted hyenas, wildebeests, greater kudu, Nyasaland gnu, elands and antelopes.

Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with a boat safari. Canoeing along river Rufiji to see large numbers of hippos and crocodiles in the river. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and sleep.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive In Selous Game Reserve

Checkout the hotel with packed lunch for a drive back to Arusha or airport for a flight back home.
